The non‑porous surface resists staining from oils, tomato sauces, coffee or wine. Routine spills clean up immediately without leaving marks. For deeper cleaning or tough coffee stains, a mild dish soap and warm water formula works without effort.

Low‑Maintenance

No sealing, polishing or expensive cleaners are necessary. A quartz countertop only needs a soft cloth, warm water, and mild dish soap for day‑to‑day cleaning. There’s minimal upkeep required—all without sacrificing shine.

Heat Resistance & Caution

While quartz can handle moderate heat (up to 150 °F or approx 65 °C), sudden thermal shock or placing roasting pans or hot pots directly on the surface can damage the resin. Use trivets or hot pads for protection.

Maintenance & Everyday Care

Basic Cleaning (Daily)

Stain & Spot Treatment 

For stubborn spots like dried sauces or coffee rings, gently scrub with a non‑abrasive sponge and a bit of baking soda or rubbing alcohol diluted with water. Avoid harsh solvents—no bleach, ammonia, or oven cleaner. Test in a hidden area first.

What to Avoid

Cutting directly on quartz—always use a cutting board to prevent micro‑scratches.
Harsh cleaners (e.g. bleach, acidic citrus sprays, scouring pads) which can dull the finish or damage resin binders.
Hot pans or appliances placed directly on the surface—always use a trivet or heat mat to avoid thermal shock.

Periodic Maintenance (Annually) 

Quartz does not require resealing. If you’d like optical shine, apply a quartz‑safe polish every year or two. Make sure to keep the surface dry and use trivets for cookware to prolong the glossy finish.
